I have a huge passion for telling peoples love stories. My whole life has been documented by my mother, the person who actually gifted me my first camera. She showed me the importance of photos encapsulating memories, preserving them for the futures to come. Being able to be the person that engraves your memories into physical images, is an honor I will forever be grateful for. My biggest priority, is making sure each photo I take keeps the story of the day moving. Each photo has meaning. It's more than just taking photos, it's being able to look at a photo and feel how you felt during that moment.

Meet Kait Hickman
My journey starts in 2020 when I was gifted a camera for christmas. I had always loved art; whether it was singing, playing instruments, drawing, painting, I did it all! So, whenever I recieved this camera, I jumped straight in. I loved taking photos of anything and everything. At the time, I was going to school at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR for Music Education. I was around so many musicians who needed professional headshots, and that's how I started my journey as a professional photographer. While I loved taking headshots, I knew there was more to photography than what I was doing. That is when I discovered my love for couples photography !
I photographed my first wedding in January of 2022, and knew that was it for me! I fell in love with weddings, and getting to learn more about my couples love stories. I'm a huge romance novel lover, so getting to make those stories come to life is a big dream of mine come true!
I met the love of my life in college, and in 2022 we were married! Shortly after we both moved to Utah that summer and started our lives here. We both love traveling, adventure, and doing anything that involves taking our puppy, Ellie, with us. Traveling is a huge part of our lives, so getting to travel for work and taking my husband with us fuels my soul!
