Tommy + Kaitlyn’s Love Story:

Tommy & I met each other the first time at a camping event hosted by a Facebook group called Outsiders Together. Me an Idahoan & he a Utahn spontaneously decided to join a camping trip in the Tetons alongside 60 other strangers. For months, we were just friends, completely unaware that a spontaneous spring break trip to St. George a year later would change everything.

Tommy proposed while we were on our second annual friendcation in Oregon. We were walking on a log in front of Clearwater Falls with our close friend Austin, who often brings his camera along. So when he started snapping photos, it didn’t at all seem out of the ordinary. We were both balancing on a narrow log when Tommy started to kneel, nearly slipping in the process. This was especially meaningful because of a phrase we had carried with us since we started dating: “something about a waterfall.” It was our way of saying, “It’s scary as hell, but we’re doing it anyway.”
